Academy is on this weekend
It’s a bank holiday weekend – but our girls and boys academy are training. The girls are on as normal at 9.30am in Confey, while the boys academy is on a little earlier than normal from 4pm to 5.30pm in Confey.

Some big home games this weekend, with Waterford Wildcats visiting on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday we have our first home Premier League game of the season on Saturday at 7.30pm in Leixlip Amenities. U15 Schools Inter-regional tournament
Good luck to our players who are involved in the U15 Tom Collins, Inter-Regional tournament in Galway next weekend, October 17th to 19th. Meadbh Hanlon, Niamh Masterson and Beatrice Olaru will play with the East region schools team, while Kris Arcilla and Finn Hughes will play with the East and North East schools teams. Girls U11’s First League outing
Liffey Celtics U11 girls got their first league outing underway with a well contested U12(2) game against Swords in Confey on Sunday October 5th. Both teams gave a great performance, and Celtics mentors Sinead, Mary and Louise were really pleased with the girls performance.

Basketball Ireland launched the new season on Wednesday last, and now we are all good to go. This weekend sees our premier league side, Courtyard Liffey Celtics open their account with a short trip accross the city to play Meteors on Saturday at 4pm. This should be a great game with both sides having strengthened their panels since last season….
