Liffey Celtics – International Roll of Honour – 2016

With 2016 just over – lets acknowledge the contribution of Liffey Celtics players and coaches – representing Ireland in 2016. Role of honour below. Well done to all.

U15 Girls (Development Squad) – Ciara Bracken and Katie Williamson. Home internationals v Scotland. International tournaments in Luxemborg and Belarus

U15 Boys (Development Squad) – Jack Maguire, Tiernan Howe, Tadhg Nevin, Cholo Anoneuvo, Kabir Aknaib . Home internationals v Scotland. International tournament in Belarus.

U16 Girls – Niamh Masterson and Beatrice Olaru. Niamh Masterson played for Ireland in the U16 European Championship in Romania, with Ireland finishing in 6th position, the best ever finish for an Ireland team.

U17 Girls (Development Squad) – Meadbh O’Hanlon and Ciara Broderick. International games v England and Wales. Tournament in Spain.

U18 Girls – Sorcha Tiernan, Laura Fortune, Erin Bracken (Asst. coach). International games v England, International tournaments in Nantes, France.  Sorcha Tiernan played for Ireland in the U18 European Championships in Sarajevo, with Ireland finishing 8th.

Senior Ladies – Aine O’Connor. Small countries tournament in Gilbraltor. Ireland took the silver medal position.

U18 International 3 x 3 tournament – Chloe Mullins and Suzanne Maguire (Coach). Chloe Mullins played for Ireland in the qualifying tournament in Hungary.
