Girls Academy in Jamboree

The girls academy participated in a jamboree hosted by Dublin Lions in Colaiste Brid last weekend. The jamboree brought together academies from Kubs, Liffey Celtics and Lions. Liffey Celtics had 13 girls attend on the day. Yvonne Bracken and Sharon Galligan from the Academy accompanied the girls. The jamboree took a different format from the usual ones previously hosted in Colaiste Brid and in the Oblates where clubs played against each other. This was the first time for most of the girls to tog out in Liffey Celtics Gear and there was great excitement. The new format meant that girls were mixed together from each of the clubs and games played. With at least 2 Liffey Celtics girls on each team everyone had great fun and made new friends over the course of the day.
