It is not often that basketball takes the front page of our national newspapers. Well it happened on January 26th 2016, with the All-Ireland U16A cup champions, Colaiste Phadraig Lucan, making the front page of the Irish Independent. A great photo – and great the see so many Liffey Celtics Basketball club members in it. Congratulations and well done to coach Louise Gough, and Liffey Celtics players Brian, Izzy, James, Gavin, Kabir, Jack and of course Kris – on a brilliant achievement.
