Cup success for Celtic’s girls

A great cup weekend for Liffey Celtics at the Dublin Ladies Cup finals on the first weekend of March.

The U12’s started it off with a victory over the good Templeogue side, while the U14 girls followed that up by taking gold versus neighbours Kilcock. Next up was the U16’s who just lost out to DCU Mercy by two points, and this was followed by the U18 girls taking silver in a hard fought match with DCU Mercy.
Sunday started with the Celtics U13 girls playing rivals Meteors, with the Celtics girls taking the cup. Our last final was the U17 girls who lost out to Portlaoise Panthers in a thrilling game. 

Well done to all our players, coaches and team managers who contributed to a great weekend for the club with no little skill, determination and team work.
