Celtics U15’s at the Tom Collins tournament

A big selection of Liffey Celtics U15 players were at this years Tom Collins post primary schools inter-regional tournament, held this past weekend in Bray and the National Basketball Arena.

Liffey Celtics girls representing the East Region were Fatimah Akorde, Laura Browne and Ciara Mulleady. The East team reached the semi-final stage of the competition. The Midlands girls team took the Plate competition, with Karyl Martyr and Kate Rochford on the team.

The Midlands boys team had Daniel Kane and Conor Hyland from Liffey Celtics and lost out in the Plate final.

Well done to the East Region boys team who won the Tom Collins cup for the second year in a row. A great performance from the team and it’s Liffey Celtics representatives Conor Walsh, Silas Sunday, Eduard Valenzeula, Johan Paulic, Donal Curtin and Ariel. Well done to coaches Rob and Erin.
