Girls U11’s First League outing
Liffey Celtics U11 girls got their first league outing underway with a well contested U12(2) game against Swords in Confey on Sunday October 5th. Both teams gave a great performance, and Celtics mentors Sinead, Mary and Louise were really pleased with the girls performance.
Season 2014/2015 is up and running….
Basketball Ireland launched the new season on Wednesday last, and now we are all good to go. This weekend sees our premier league side, Courtyard Liffey Celtics open their account with a short trip accross the city to play Meteors on Saturday at 4pm. This should be a great game with both sides having strengthened their panels since last season….

If you are a beginner, and aged between 7 and 10, and want to play basketball, then come along to our basketball academy. One of Liffey Celtics newest recruits has booked her place to the European Olympics with the Irish womens 3×3 team. Suzanne Maguire competed this past weekend in 3×3 European Championships in Bucharest. U15’s get Ireland Caps
Liffey Celtics was well represented at the International Caps presentation on May 29th in the National Basketball Arena.
