It’s National Cup Final Weekend
One of the biggest weekends in Irish basketball, with National Cup Finals in the National Basketball Arena this weekend. If you cannot get along to see it, then tune in to TG4 on Saturday evening at 6pm to watch the Premier league final, or for the live streaming of the other finals. Colaiste Chiarain U16 Cup Success
Colaiste Chiarain U16 girls team recorded a brilliant victory in the All-Ireland Schools Cup U16A final at the National Basketball Arena on Tuesday, January 20th, over a very good Gael Cholaiste Mhuire AG team from Cork. The Colaiste Chiarain team are all members of Liffey Celtics, and they had great support on the days from their school and from Liffey Celtics….
Premier League is back Saturday January 17th
After a longer than usual Christmas break, the Courtyard Liffey Celtics premier league team are back in action this Saturday when they take on DCU Mercy in Leixlip Amenities. Should be a great game, so come along to support the girls on Saturday evening at 7.30pm.
Celtics bow out of U20 Cup
Liffey Celtics U20 girls bowed out of the U20 National Cup on Saturday last in Parochial Hall, Cork. We knew it was going to be a tough task playing Brunel on their home court. Liffey Celtics Bounceathon 2014
Our Bounceathon event held on December 13th was a great success. Thank you to all who either organised, supported or participated in the event. The Bounceathon raised approximately €2,200 for the club, and €400 which the club will donate to local charity Pieta House.
